Today is 6th December. The date in Indian history when Babri Masjid was demolished in 1992. Like every year, this year also Uttar Pradesh Police is on alert. Police teams have been put on alert in 26 districts of the state including Ayodhya, Varanasi, Mathura, Agra, Sambhal, Kanpur and Lucknow. Today is Friday and also the 32nd anniversary of Babri demolition. This is the reason why security arrangements have been tightened here.
Two days ago, state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had also given instructions for necessary review regarding Sambhal violence. The CM had strictly said that no matter what day it is, no matter what the circumstances, any kind of disturbance will not be tolerated. He had instructed the state police to deal strictly with the rioters. Meanwhile, special vigilance has also been imposed on all religious and public establishments in the state.

Controversy over another mosque of Babar’s era
Sambhal District SP Krishna Kumar Bishnoi had issued an alert in the district on December 6. In fact, here too a controversy has started regarding the Shahi Jama Masjid built during the Babar era, due to which violence took place in the district recently. This is the reason why the administration has been kept on high-alert here.
Apart from these, today is also Friday and after the violent incidents this district is kept on alert every Friday. Apart from these, security is also kept tight in other districts of the state, so that no protest of any kind can take place.

RAF-PAC deployed in Sambhal
Regarding preparations for December 6, the SP said, “Sambhal district is fully prepared. One company of RAF, 9 companies of PAC and additional RRF personnel have been deployed to ensure that the day passes peacefully. Police will be deployed at every corner.”
