Abhay Singh, popularly known as IIT wale Baba, is present in Mahakumbh. He has not left the fair and gone anywhere. While speaking to Aaj Tak late on Friday night, he denied the news that Abhay Singh had suddenly gone to some unknown place from 16 Madi Ashram of Juna Akhara in the Maha Kumbh Mela. Abhay Singh accused the sadhus of the ashram of spreading rumors about him. It was being claimed that last night Abhay’s parents had reached 16 Madi Ashram of Juna Akhara in search of him. But by then Abhay had left the ashram. However, the parents’ arrival at the ashram has not been confirmed.

According to other sadhus present in 16 Madi Ashram of Juna Akhara, Abhay Singh was continuously giving interviews, it was affecting his mind and he also said some things to the media which were not appropriate. He was also taken to Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Avadheshanand Giri of Juna Akhara. Seeing the mental condition of Abhay Singh, Juna Akhara decided that he should leave the ashram and after this late in the night Abhay left the ashram.

Baba from IIT said in a conversation with Aaj Tak, ‘Hey, they have spread wrong news about me. They (the operators of Madi Ashram) had asked me to leave from there at night. Now he felt that he had become famous. If he comes to know anything then he will go against us, so he said anything that I have gone to secret meditation from there. Those people are talking the same nonsense.

Regarding questions being raised on his mental condition, Abhay Singh said, ‘I am explaining to the mind, what is the mind. You are analyzing my mental state. very good. Which psychologist is there who has more information than me? Why are you tagging me? He should have more knowledge than me to give me a certificate. While talking to Aaj Tak, Abhay Singh also said that he has no guru.

Saint Someshwar Puri of Juna Akhara had claimed that he is the guru of IIT wale Baba alias Abhay Singh. Someshwar Puri told Aaj Tak that Abhay had found him wandering in Varanasi, then he brought him to his ashram. When asked about this, Abhay Singh said, ‘Who said that he is my guru. This is what is happening. I had already told him that whoever I learn from, I make him my guru. Now that I became famous, he made himself my guru. But I had already made it clear to him that there is no guru-disciple relationship between us.
