There has been a lot of negligence from the Medical College in Pilibhit, UP, where it is alleged that the newborn was given an expired glucose bottle. The newborn died in this incident. The CMO has constituted a panel of two doctors in the case, which will investigate the allegations. Action will be taken on the careless after the investigation report. At present, the Pilibhit Medical College Administration has suspended two staff nurses after catching the case.

In fact, Ranjit Singh, a resident of the village of Pilibhit, had admitted his newborn child to the medical college in the past when his health deteriorated. It is alleged that here the staff nurse offered a newborn bottle of expired glucose. When the child’s condition became critical, he was referred. By the time he was taken to another hospital, the newborn died on the way.

After which the family came to the medical college with a newborn’s body with a bottle of expired glucose. Till then there was a bottle of expired glucose in the body. Family members complained but no hearing was held. On which the uproar started.

Finally, the post -mortem of the newborn was ordered. At the same time, the CMO also assured the action after investigation. CMO Dr. Alok Sharma said that the matter has been known through social media, investigation is being done, action is also being taken. There will be action on the culprits. Staff nurses Preeti and Pushpa have been suspended after preliminary investigation.

On the other hand, the uncle of the deceased alleged that the glucose that was offered was expired in 7 months. He questioned why the bottle of expired glucose was kept in the SNCU ward so many months ago.
