India vs Australia 4th Test Playing 11: The fourth match of the 5-match Test series between the Indian team and Australia is being played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). In the match, the Australian team is batting first after winning the toss. At present, this series between the two teams is currently tied at 1-1. For this fourth test, the Kangaroo team had announced its playing-11 a day before.
But Indian captain Rohit Sharma clarified the playing-11 after the toss. Let us tell you that this time the Indian team has come to Melbourne to score a hat-trick of wins. He has won the last 2 tests on this ground. The Indian team played a total of 14 tests on this ground, out of which it won 4 and lost 8. There were 2 draws.
It’s Pat Cummins who has won the toss & opted to bat first at the MCG!

Sundar in playing-11 for this match
A major change was made in the Indian team today for this test match. Shubman Gill was dropped from the team, while Washington Sundar was fielded to play in his place. However, why was Gill dropped from the team? The reason for this has not been revealed. Whereas Rohit Sharma said that he will bat in the top order. Melbourne’s pitch may remain spin friendly, perhaps that is why Sundar was given a chance. However, it remains to be seen who will bat at number 3 in place of Gill in the Indian team.
Two changes in Australian playing-11
On the other hand, a day before the Melbourne Test, on 25th December, Australian captain Pat Cummins had announced his playing-11 in a press conference. The good thing for them is that Travis Head has been declared fit to play the Boxing Day Test against India.
Along with Head, MCG hero Scott Boland was also included in the team. There were two changes in the Australian playing-11. Sam Constas will debut, he got entry in place of Nathan McSweeney. Boland replaced injured Josh Hazlewood.
