Ajinkya Rahane will be KKR captain
Ajinkya Rahane, who has been out of the Indian team for a long time, has been made its captain by Kolkata Knight Riders. Rahane was bought by KKR in the same season auction. His base price was 1.5 crore and KKR bought at the same price. Now he has got the responsibility of captaincy. Rahane has the experience of taking over the responsibility of captaincy in Team India and IPL along with domestic cricket. Under his captaincy, India went to Australia and captured the Border Gavaskar Trophy.

Venkatesh Iyer gets vice -captain
Madhya Pradesh all -rounder Venkatesh Iyer is KKR’s most expensive player in IPL 2025. The franchise had to pay Rs 23.75 crore to buy them. Earlier reports were coming that Iyer would get captaincy. But now he has been made the vice -captain. Iyer made an IPL debut for KKR and is consistently part of the team. He played an important role in winning the title last year.
