UP: 11 criminals arrested for cyber fraud of Rs 190 crore, network spread across the country and abroad – Azamgarh cyber crime gang 190 crore scam 11 accused arrested Uttar Pradesh lclar

Azamgarh Police of Uttar Pradesh has achieved great success against cyber crime and arrested 11 cyber criminals who committed fraud of Rs 190 crore. The network of these criminals is spread not only in India but also abroad. The gang worked to cheat innocent people by luring them through WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and fake apps.
According to the police, this gang used to run a fake call center in a rented house, where 24-hour shift wise fraud work was done. The accused used to lure people to earn huge profits by investing small amounts on fake gaming and other apps. As soon as a large amount was deposited, their ID was closed.
190 crore fraud for fake call center
SP Azamgarh Hemraj Meena said that complaints of cyber fraud were coming for a long time. During surveillance, the police exposed the racket running in a house in the Kotwali area. Information of 171 bank accounts, hundreds of mobile phones, laptops and cash have been recovered from the accused.
Police arrested 11 accused
The 11 accused arrested are residents of different states of the country. Investigation has revealed that their network is also connected at the international level. The apps and platforms used for fraud are being investigated. All the accused have been sent to jail.
