Rishabh Pant said this on Monday after becoming the captain of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Earlier, LSG team owner Dr. Sanjeev Goenka announced Rishabh Pant as the new captain. On this occasion, jersey number 17 was also handed over to the new captain. Rishabh told that he has played in Ekana before also. However, now playing here will feel like home. The streets of the city are not unknown to me. Many memories are still fresh. I prefer to eat Tunde Kebab of Lucknow rather than Seekh Kebab of Delhi. Very happy to be a part of the team and the players. There is a new platform where we all will together try to prove ourselves better and enjoy the game.

Have captained in IPL before, what new will you do?
Have learned a lot from Dhoni and Rohit bhai. The player has to maintain confidence. When players come on the field with confidence, they make things very exciting and better for themselves as well as the team. As a captain, it is very important to show confidence in the players.
