Isha Malviya calls Lovely Lolla ‘funny and very interesting’ as she opens up about her new show with Gauahar Khan : Bollywood News
Isha Malviya is currently being seen in the titular character of Lovely in Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s new web show Lovely Lolla, which has started streaming on the official YouTube page of their banner Dreamiyata Dramaa. Starring Gauahar Khan as the other lead, the show is a funny take on dysfunctional family and relationships. While the actress described as the show as ‘very interesting’, but it took some time for her to realize what the actual story is.

Speaking about the show, Isha Malviya said, “The name is very interesting. And initially, when I heard the name, it was funny for me to even realize that this is a show named Lovely Lolla. But gradually, we came to know that these are the two characters on which the show is based. It’s funny and very interesting”. While the actress gained fame for her double role in the popular show Udaariyaan, this will be her first time with a limited series. Isha, however, believes that limited series are a sure shot hit
“It is not a movie, nor a TV show that runs for maybe six months or more than a year. This is a limited episodic series, which captivates more audiences towards themselves,” she shared and went on to speak about how TV shows tend to stretch and continue a story with new twists and turns to keep the audience hooked. “We as actors and the makers together want the viewers to know that we are making the show more interesting and trying to keep it running,” she added.
Coming to Lovely Lolla, the series is the story of a mother-daughter duo with a suspense that will be revealed only once the show is on-air. She said that it is the high point of the show and added, “The chemistry between the mother-daughter duo, who fall in love with the same guy, will also keep the audience interested.”
She is also stressed wondering how the audience will connect to it because it is a very different kind of concept that Ravie and Sargun are bringing to YouTube. Insisting that it is not what it looks like, Isha stated, “People would love to watch how Lola and Arjun are connected, how Arjun and Lovely are connected, and then later on how this trio is being formed and what the suspense is going to. be when finally this trio gets to know that these two women are in love with the same guy and these two women are mother and daughter. So, this is going to be a really fun suspense”.
