The air strikes are going on in Israeli’s Gaza. On Thursday, two schools were attacked by the Israeli Air Force in North Gaza. 33 people have died in this attack. Most of those killed are children and women. The number of dead may increase as the condition of some injured is critical. The schools that have been attacked were already converted into a shelter site for refugees.
United Nations expressed strong objection
The United Nations and other international organizations have strongly condemned the incident and emphasized the need for safety of innocent civilians, especially children. Local officials say that the children killed in these attacks were between 5 and 15 years of age.

Many of the families affected by the attacks reported that they had taken shelter inside the school, when the voices of a sudden loud blast were heard. At that time all the children were in class and were studying. This incident is a warning not only for Gaza but also for the world how important the safety of children in the areas of conflict.

The international community and human rights organizations have immediately appealed to end the war and ensure safety for the children who have been in the grip of violence. This struggle has once again made it clear that children and innocent citizens are the most damaged in war.
