An elderly woman named Saroj was murdered in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This incident was carried out with the intention of robbery. The police arrested five accused on charges of murder and paraded them in front of everyone in the market. The murder of an elderly woman took place on January 16 in Vidyadhar Nagar area.
The accused paraded by the police included the main accused Gopal and his associates Bajrang, Deen Mohammad, Lucky and Shahrukh. Gopal is the adopted brother of the deceased woman’s sister-in-law and is also the mastermind of this murder.
Police organized a parade of murder accused
According to the police, on the day of the incident, five masked youth had held Saroj hostage in his house. Before killing him, his hands and legs were tied and a cloth was stuffed in his mouth. Then after committing the robbery, the accused murdered him and ran away.

After the incident, with the help of CCTV footage and other clues, the police arrested the accused from Mehndwas area of Tonk district. Gopal and his associates had committed this incident due to debt. He had also roped in two other criminals from Bundi for the robbery. Disclosing this incident, the police said that the accused had fled by roadways bus after the incident. All the accused will be presented in the court soon. Police said that the accused have confessed to their crime.
