A case of gas leakage from a borewell has come to light in Talo Ka Bera village of Bawdi tehsil of Jodhpur district of Rajasthan, which has shocked the villagers. After the smell of gas and the incident of it catching fire in the air, this topic has become the center of discussion in the entire area. However, no government agency has yet reached there to thoroughly investigate this matter.
According to the information, there is a borewell about 15 years old in the field of farmer Annaram Deora of Talo Ka Bera village, which was lying closed for a long time. Recently, Annaram’s son Mahendra started the work of cleaning this borewell to make it reusable. On Monday, when the condition inside the borewell was checked with the help of a camera before installing the pump, the pictures that emerged were shocking.

It was seen in the camera that gas was boiling from inside the borewell. When I took out the camera, the smell of gas was felt. To understand the situation, Mahendra tested by lighting a matchstick and as soon as the matchstick was lit, the gas immediately caught fire. The villagers present there were surprised to see this. The news of the incident spread rapidly in the village and surrounding areas.

The question arising in everyone’s mind is what gas is coming out from the borewell and can it be a source of natural gas. Mahendra said that the borewell has been immediately closed to avoid any possible danger due to gas. Apart from this, villagers have also been instructed not to go near. However, no official response or investigation has been started from the administration in this matter.
