Former Bihar CM and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav celebrated the birthday of his wife and Bihar’s first woman Chief Minister Rabri Devi in a very lovely manner. Lalu presented red roses to his wife Rabri on the morning of her birthday. Rabri Devi herself has shared the pictures of this wonderful moment from her social media (X) account.
Rabri Devi shared her pictures with Lalu Yadav and wrote, ‘Happy New Year to my dear Saheb.’ Let us tell you that the bonding between Lalu and Rabri is very good. This has been visible on many occasions. Rabri Devi’s birthday was on 1 January 2025.
Lalu had contested the election from Rabri
In the year 2014, Lalu handed over his Saran parliamentary seat to Rabri Devi and contested the elections from Saran. During this, Lalu formally handed over the seat to Rabri from the stage and garlanded her. Lalu had then called it a marriage ritual. However, he had to face defeat from BJP candidate Rajiv Pratap Rudy.

While garlanding Rabri’s neck during a public meeting in Raipura village of Garkha block of Saran, Lalu had said that he was performing the ritual of marriage for the second time in front of Rabri. In Bhojpuri, Lalu had said that he got married at a young age in the 70s. At that time the practice of Jaimala was not prevalent, so he did it today.
