A painful accident occurred in Sitapur in UP. Here on Saturday morning, a boat overturned in the Sharda river, in which three people died, while seven people were safely rescued. The accident happened when some people were crossing the river to cremate a dead body. After the incident, sensation spread in the area. The local administration immediately got involved in relief and rescue work.
According to the information, the incident took place in Ratanganj area of Tambore area at around 11 am today. A person named Dinesh Gupta died here, after which the family was crossing the river by taking the dead body. The boat overturned at a mound on a mound situated on the banks of the Sharda River. More than a dozen people were riding in the boat. As soon as the boat overturned, people started floating around to avoid drowning in the river. On seeing this, the situation became frightening.

When the boat overturned, the local villagers started the rescue work showing readiness. Some people immediately jumped into the water and started trying to save the drowning people. Meanwhile, as soon as the information was received, the team of divers also reached the spot and started working in rescue work.
The bodies of three people were removed with the help of divers, who have been identified as 13 -year -old Kumkum, Neeraj’s wife Khushboo and Jagdish’s son Sanjay. At the same time, 7 other people were taken out safely. Of these, the condition of a 13 -year -old teenager remains critical, he has been admitted to the nearest hospital.
On receiving information about the incident, administrative officials reached the spot and took stock of the situation. Officials said that this accident happened due to more people riding in the boat. The administration has assured all possible assistance to the families of the deceased. There is a wave of mourning among the local people after this incident.
