Priyanka Sharma, a resident of Lucknow, died under mysterious circumstances in Thailand. The death occurred when she had gone to visit Pattaya city in Thailand with her husband and son. During this time he died under suspicious circumstances in the hotel. Her father Satyanarayan Sharma has alleged that his daughter was murdered by her husband Ashish Srivastava. He has demanded an investigation.

According to Satyanarayan Sharma, Ashish and his daughter lived in Vrindavan, Lucknow. It is alleged that the daughter was harassed by her husband since marriage. Ashish had illicit relations with another woman, which Priyanka opposed. After this Ashish tortured Priyanka physically and mentally.
Had already filed a complaint against her husband
Priyanka had earlier also filed a police complaint against Ashish. Now after Priyanka’s death, Satyanarayan Sharma has sought help from Rajya Sabha member Dr. Dinesh Sharma. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the Police Commissioner has registered a case and given instructions for investigation.

According to DCP Shanshank Singh, a case has been filed on behalf of the family members. If the death occurred in Thailand, investigation is underway and post-mortem has been done.
