Keeping in mind the Mahakumbh 2025, North Central Railway has made special arrangements for the convenience of the devotees coming to Prayagraj. Prayagraj Division of North Central Railway has started a special initiative to simplify and facilitate the ticketing process by using digital technology. Its objective is to manage crowd at the railway station during Maha Kumbh and provide hassle free experience to the pilgrims.
Actually, during Mahakumbh, Karmayogi of the Commerce Department of Railways will be on special duty at Prayagraj Junction and will wear green jackets. There will be a QR code printed on the back of these jackets, which devotees will be able to scan with their mobile to directly download the UTS (Unreserved Ticketing System) mobile app. This app will provide the facility to passengers to book unreserved tickets without standing in line.

Railway personnel will serve at stations and various important places wearing green jackets, so that devotees can get assistance regarding ticket booking everywhere.
On scanning the QR code, you will get a link which will take you directly to the UTS app. Through this, passengers can avail ticket booking as well as other facilities. This initiative of North Central Railway can prove to be a step towards Digital India and a big relief for the devotees coming for Mahakumbh 2025.
