A railway track was found broken on the Lucknow-Varanasi route in Sultanpur district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. However, it was rectified very soon. If it had not been repaired in time, a major accident could have occurred. Government Railway Police (GRP) said that information about breakage of railway track was received near Bedupara village of Lambhua police station area. Railway engineers started repair work and the broken track was immediately repaired.
Lambhua GRP in-charge Mahavir said that as soon as the information about the broken track was received, the engineer along with other employees reached the spot and got the broken track repaired.
