Having gained immense fame for her role as Imlie in the Star Plus show by the same name, Megha Chakraborty has finally made it official with boyfriend Sahil Phull after the couple tied the knot this week. After announcing their engagement earlier this month by sharing photos of their romantic proposal by the beach, Megha has now dropped first pictures from their wedding along with a heartfelt note. Many of the couple’s friends from the industry also shared their congratulatory messages and best wishes on their special moment.

The Imlie actress turned quintessential bride in a red lehenga choli, accessorizing with heavy traditional jewellery, whereas the groom Sahil Phull shone in an ivory sherwani. While the couple dropped only a couple of photos from their ceremony, they did not share many details. However, they did pen a sweet note in a joint post, wherein they said, “Our forever begins here” and added heart, ring emojis.
They continued, “Surrounded by love, laughter, and the promise of a lifetime together, we’re thrilled to share the first chapter of our beautiful journey with you all. Here’s to love that grows, dreams that come true, and a lifetime of happiness by each other’s side”, and shared the ‘raising champagne flutes’ and ‘twin heart’ emojis indicating their union. They also signed off this note saying, “With all our love, Sahil & Megha” and included their hashtag ‘Mehil’

Megha’s co-star from her recent show Mishri, Namit Taneja, along with her Imile co-star Karan Vohra dropped heart emojis and congratulatory message to the actress. Also joining them were actors like Sangeeta Kapure, Manish Naggdev, Shrenu Parikh, Mallika Nayak, Anil Charanjeett, Hemant Thatte, Zohaiib Siddiqui, Jasweer Kaur, among others.

The couple played co-stars in the Sony SAB show Kaatelal & Sons and expected to have fallen in love during the shoot. While they haven’t spoken much about their relationship to the media, they have always been open about sharing posts, etc, with each other on social platforms.
