According to the FIR, the survey of Jama Masjid was being done on 24 November on the orders of the court, when at 9 am a crowd of 700 to 800 unknown people armed with deadly weapons came with the aim of disrupting the process of survey of Jama Masjid.

Ziaur Rahman Burke made inflammatory statements

According to the FIR, Suhail Iqbal was present in the crowd that came to disrupt the survey process on 24 November. Suhail instigated the crowd by saying that Ziaur Rahman Burke is with us, we are with you, we will not let anything happen. Fulfill your plans, hearing this the crowd became more furious.

The angry mob pelted stones at the policemen

The police appealed to the crowd to maintain peace, but the angry crowd started shouting slogans and then pelted stones at the policemen. Not only this, police vehicles were vandalized and vehicles were set on fire. One person from the crowd fired at area officer Anuj Choudhary with the intention of killing him, in which Anuj was shot in the leg and injured.

Politics starts after violence
