In Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, three youths hit a hatchback car with their Fortuner SUV and overturned it on the roadside, in which three youths were seriously injured. The accused also tried to show that the collision was a deliberate accident. However, one of the injured youth told the truth of the incident to the police, after which the three accused were arrested.
According to the police, the incident happened late night of Saturday-Sunday. Police received information about a car accident on Bhopal-Indore highway in Bhainsakhedi of Khajuri police station area. After reaching the spot, it was found that a Hyundai Nios car was overturned and badly damaged. Three injured people from the car were taken to the hospital with the help of an ambulance. Initially the police was considering it as a normal road accident, but the reason behind the accident told to the police by one of the injured, Kushal Srivastava, turned the whole matter upside down.
There was an altercation at the restaurant
Injured Kushal told that his car was deliberately hit by a Fortuner car and overturned. Kushal told that on the night of January 11, he had come to eat dinner at the dhaba with his two-year-olds Sunny and Ankit. After dinner, when all three were standing in the parking lot talking, all three laughed at something. There were three people sitting in the Fortuner parked nearby who shouted and asked why are you standing here? Get out of here. On this Kushal said that we are talking among ourselves. Not talking to you. After this the three persons came near them and started scuffling. Meanwhile, the Dhaba operator and other people present there intervened.
The car was repeatedly attacked and then hit.
After this, Kushal along with his two friends left the place in the car. After going some distance, the riders in the Fortuner car came behind them and one of them threw a stone at Kushal’s car and broke the rear glass of the car and then overtook the car and hit the front glass of the car with a stick. Due to which the front glass was broken. Even after this, the victims did not stop there and went ahead till Bhainsakhedi. Then the people driving the Fortuner, while driving in a dangerous manner, deliberately hit Kushal’s car hard from behind, due to which the complainant’s car climbed on the divider, hit the street light pole, reached the other side of the road and overturned. Kushal and both his brothers-in-law were seriously injured in this accident. All three suffered serious injuries and are currently undergoing treatment.
On the basis of the statement, the police registered a case and started investigation and found that the names of the youth riding the Fortuner were Vishal Meena, Avinash Meena and Raju Nagar. After this, the police arrested Vishal and Avinash from Bairagarh Kalan village and Raju Nagar from Bakaniya. The Fortuner car used in the incident has also been recovered and confiscated by the police.
