Ever since, Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale was released on Netflix, the docu-film encompassing the journey of the Lady Superstar has garnered much attention. While fans were thrilled to get a glimpse of her journey, it also sparked a major controversy, leading to a legal battle between the actress and the actor-producer Dhanush after the film featured a mere three-second clip from his production – Naanum Rowdy MoneyAmid lawsuits and blame games, a cryptic note posted by Nayanthara on her social media handle has garnered attention.
Nayanthara shares mysterious note on ‘Karma’ sparking speculations amid her legal battle with Dhanush
While the Instagram page of Nayanthara is filled with tidbits from the docu-film, the actress took to her story to share a note on Karma which read, “Karma Says!! When you destroy someone’s life with lies, take it as a loan, it will come back to you with interest”. Adding to the speculation, the actress also highlighted the line ‘Take it as a loan’ further sparking interest among fans who believe that the note may have been directed at a ‘certain’ someone.
Meanwhile, speaking of the ongoing controversy, Nayanthara used a mere three second footage from her film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan which had her husband Vignesh Shivan as the director. The film, which released about nine years ago in 2015, played a key role in their love story since they met each other for the first time on the sets of the film. Followed by this, Dhanush slapped a Rs. 10 crores defamation suit against the actress for unethical use of footage which prompted Nayanthara to call him out in public on social media revealing that she waited for two years to get his permission for using content from their film Naanum Rowdy DhaanShe also mentioned how the footage used in the docu-film was shot on personal devices and hence were technically not a part of the film.
