Police investigation is going on in the suicide case of Atul Subhash, an IT engineer working in Bengaluru. Meanwhile, Bengaluru Police reached Jaunpur and took the status report of all the cases filed by Atul’s wife Nikita Singhania in the CJM court.
Let us tell you that in the CJM Court, the Bengaluru Police team is taking the status report of all the cases which Nikita had filed against her husband Atul Subhash and his family under Dowry System Act, Maintenance Act or other sections. Atul had to come to Jaunpur from Bangalore to appear in the hearing of these cases.
At present, the status report of the case pending against Atul Subhash in Jaunpur and Allahabad High Court has come out. Only 3 cases are pending against Atul in Jaunpur District Sessions Court.
First case-
In the court of ACGM Jaunpur, case 115/2022 was filed against Atul Subhash and his family on behalf of Nikita Singhania in Jaunpur Kotwali, in which the case of harassment for dowry, assault and Dowry System Act is being heard.
Second case-
The case under the repealed Domestic Violence Act was re-filed in the court of Additional Civil Judge First of Jaunpur and its hearing is to be held on 24 January 2025.
Third case-
On behalf of Nikita, a case was registered against Atul Subhash in the court of CJM Jaunpur under the Maintenance Act, in which on July 29, 2024, the court had fixed an alimony of Rs 40,000 for the maintenance of son Vyom. For the recovery of this alimony, a recovery petition has been filed on behalf of son Vyom, the hearing on which is scheduled on 16th December.
Petition was also filed in Allahabad High Court
Apart from these three cases, Atul Subhash has filed a petition in the Allahabad High Court challenging the jurisdiction of the case registered under the Dowry System Act, in which Atul has said in the petition that the incident of assault or demand of dowry with Nikita took place in Bengaluru, hence Juridiction of this case is not done in Jaunpur.
At the same time, Nikita Singhania has filed a petition in the High Court for maintenance. The lower court had only determined the maintenance of the son but Nikita has filed a petition in the High Court for his maintenance saying that he has no source of income whereas Atul Subhash had claimed that Nikita is running a company in Delhi. Along with this, a petition was also filed on behalf of Nikita in the Allahabad High Court for the earliest hearing and disposal of her case, on which the Allahabad High Court had ordered the disposal of the case within 6 months after the hearing.
In this way, 3 cases against Atul Subhash are pending in the District Court of Jaunpur. Whereas, a case is going on on behalf of Nikita in Allahabad High Court. At the same time, a case is also pending from Atul Subhash challenging the jurisdiction of the court.
