Police arrested three vicious thieves after an encounter on Thursday in Noida, UP, adjacent to Delhi, one of which was shot in the leg of the accused. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone-I) Shakti Mohan Awasthi said that the police indicated to stop an auto-rickshaw during checking near a nursery but the driver tried to escape by increasing the pace.
According to the report of the news agency, the police chased the miscreants and laid siege, then the accused in the auto started firing. Police also fired in retaliation, in which 30 -year -old Surendra was injured. He was immediately admitted to the hospital.
Apart from this, the other two accused Rohit (22) and Ajay (28) were caught by the police on the spot. During interrogation, the miscreants confessed that they used to steal in the houses at night and were going to sell the looted goods at the same time.
Awasthi told that Surendra is a resident of Bulandshahr and many cases of robbery and theft are registered in many districts of UP. The police recovered a native pistol, cartridge, Rs 10,000 cash, an auto-rickshaw, a gold ring, a silver belt, battery inverter and an LED TV from the accused. At present, the police is looking for other members of the entire gang.
