Schools in Delhi, Gurugram and Faridabad also closed
Apart from Noida, schools in Delhi are also closed due to air pollution. The Delhi government had earlier allowed physical classes for class 10th and 12th students in view of the upcoming board exams. However, after the Supreme Court decision, the decision was reversed and all physical classes were suspended. Schools have been closed in both urban and rural areas up to Class 12 in Gurugram and Faridabad due to high pollution levels in the districts.

Supreme Court decision
Let us tell you that today itself the Supreme Court had refused to relax the restrictions imposed due to pollution in Delhi. The Supreme Court on Monday refused to relax the rules of Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP)-IV implemented in Delhi. However, the Court directed the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) to consider that a large number of students, who are not able to go to school, are not able to avail the mid-day meal, are not able to attend online classes.
