According to Grims, it has been done to recognize Musk’s continuous efforts in support of the freedom of nomination expression and his contribution to global peace.

What is the whole process?
The selection process of Nobel Peace Prize is quite rigid and wide. The last date for nomination is 31 January, and it usually starts from mid -October. After the deadline, enrollment is handed over to the Nobel Committee in mid -February.
