If you are a farmer then there is good news for you. Digital base farmer registry is being prepared for farmers in Uttar Pradesh under Agri Stack Scheme. Agri Stack Scheme has been launched by the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, under which a comprehensive digital framework will be created for the well-being of farmers and overall progress of the agriculture industry.

The main objective of this scheme is to empower Indian agriculture through digital platforms and increase both the productivity and income of farmers by connecting them with technological tools. Under this scheme, digital profiles of farmers will be prepared, which will include their land records, crop details, and economic activities and other important information.

The objective of this registry is to make the benefits of crop loan, PM Kisan Yojana, crop insurance and other government schemes easily available to the farmers. Regarding this, UP Agriculture Director Dr. Jitendra Kumar Tomar said that the farmer registry program is being run at a very fast pace in various districts of the state. In which farmers’ records like Khasra, Khatauni are being linked to their Aadhaar. Its advantage will be that from now on, farmers will not have to do KYC again and again to avail the benefits of any government scheme.

What work needs to be done and how to get it done?
To avail the benefits of this scheme, it is mandatory for farmers to get farmer registration done. According to the information, farmers have to complete this registry work before December 31, 2024. For this, farmers can easily avail the benefits of all government schemes by going to their nearest camp and getting registered.

To get former registration done, you can go to the web portal of the department. Apart from the portal, you can get this work done by visiting your nearest public convenience center or from the camps set up by the government at Panchayat Bhawan or other places in the village.
