One former CM’s son lost, the other’s daughter-in-law… Know the results of Jharkhand’s hot seats – Jharkhand Assembly Elections Result 2024 VVIP constituency JMM shines setback for BJP ntc

In the Jharkhand Assembly elections, INDIA block performed strongly and won 56 out of 81 seats, while NDA was limited to only 24 seats. But the most talked about were the VVIP seats of the state, where the reputation of many senior leaders and their families was at stake.

The results of these seats showed that Hemant Soren’s charisma remains intact in the state, while BJP suffered a major setback with the defeat of its big faces. Nisat Alam, wife of former Jharkhand minister Alamgir Alam, who was arrested by the ED, won from Pakur by a maximum margin of 86,029 votes.

Barhet (ST): Chief Minister Hemant Soren (JMM) once again registered a big victory from his traditional seat. By defeating BJP’s Kamal Hembram, he proved that he remains the biggest face of Jharkhand politics.

Dumka (ST): Hemant Soren’s brother Basant Soren (JMM) defeated BJP’s Sunil Soren on this seat. This victory is another example of the strength of the Soren family.

Gandeya: Hemant Soren’s wife Kalpana Soren (JMM) has given a great start to her political innings by defeating BJP’s Muniya Devi.

Ghatshila (ST): Babu Lal Soren (BJP), son of former Chief Minister Champai Soren, had to face defeat on this seat. Ramdas Soren (JMM) won here.

Potka (ST): Arjun Munda’s wife Meera Munda (BJP) caused a major upset by defeating Sanjeev Sardar (JMM).

Jagannathpur (ST): Madhu Koda’s wife Geeta Koda (BJP) was defeated by Sona Ram Sinku of Congress.

Jamtara: Shibu Soren’s daughter-in-law Sita Murmu (BJP) was defeated by Irfan Ansari of Congress.

Jamshedpur East: BJP got relief on this seat. Raghubar Das’s daughter-in-law Purnima Sahu defeated Congress’s Ajay Kumar.

Seraikela (ST): Former Chief Minister Champai Soren (BJP) won here.

Money wise: Former BJP Chief Minister Babu Lal Marandi gave some relief to NDA by winning this seat.
