A youth tried to rob a bank in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Here the young man sprayed pepper spray on the bank staff and tried to rob, but when he realized that people would catch him, he ran away. After receiving the complaint about this matter, the police caught him within 2 hours. When the accused was interrogated, he told that he had lost a lot of money in online gaming, after which he planned to rob the bank.
According to the police, this case pertains to Dhanlaxmi Bank of Piplani area. On Friday afternoon, a young man arrived here wearing a mask and said that he had to open an account. When he was asked for the address to open an account, he gave a rent agreement, on which the bank staff told him that an account cannot be opened in the bank through a rent agreement. Apart from this, the staff also asked him to remove the mask from his face.

After removing the mask, the young man stayed there for some time and then went away. At 4 pm the youth again reached the bank and started spraying pepper spray on the bank staff. The young man spraying spray was going towards the cash counter, at the same time 4-5 employees of the bank tried to catch him, but he ran away outside the gate.
The bank manager immediately informed this matter at Piplani police station. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took stock. The police traced the youth’s escape route through CCTV footage and caught him within 2 hours. The young man was trying to run away from Bhopal.
During interrogation, the youth told that he is addicted to online gaming, in which he has lost around Rs 2 lakh. The addiction was such that apart from paying college fees, he borrowed money from friends and played online games and lost the money. After this he made a plan to rob the bank. During interrogation it was also revealed that he had also done recce of many banks. The police have seized his bike and pepper spray from the accused.
