Apna Dal (Kameravadi) leader and MLA from Sirathu seat of Uttar Pradesh Pallavi Patel has ended her dharna. After the arrival of Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana and assurance of appropriate action, Pallavi ended her protest on Monday night.
Let us tell you that Pallavi Patel was demanding action alleging scam and bribery in the appointment of lecturers in the Technical Education Department of Uttar Pradesh. With this demand, she sat on a dharna near the statue of Chaudhary Charan Singh located in UP Vidhan Bhavan.
Allegation- Posts were filled only by promotion
Apna Dal (Kamerawadi) leader Pallavi Patel has alleged bribery in appointments. He alleges that under the rules of AICTE, the spokespersons were to be appointed through open recruitment, but the department recruited them only by giving promotion. 250 lecturers across the state were promoted and made heads of departments in different polytechnic colleges.
Took command as minister in 2022
When UP government minister and Apna Dal (Sonelal) working president Ashish Patel was discussed on this matter, he said, ‘We took over the responsibility of this department as a minister in 2022. The pay scale of AICT, which was already applicable in the degree sector, was implemented in the diploma sector. But till now the departmental selection rules are under preparation.
CBI investigation should be done, everything will be revealed
He further said, ‘I took the decision as the head of the department. I stand by my decision, whoever has objection should get the investigation done. It has been requested to the Chief Minister through social media that by conducting a CBI investigation into this entire episode, milk should be turned into water. All the decisions taken by me should be investigated. Ever since I took charge of the department, I have busted the copying racket.

Taking aim at Pallavi Patel, Ashish said, ‘There is no need to tell from where Pallavi Patel is operating. The world knows about those who choose their timing and operate.
