People of Buldhana are bald by wheat of Punjab-Haryana? What did the farmers and experts say on the doctor’s claim – Maharashtra Buldhana People Bald Due to Punjab Haryana Wheat Farmers and Experts Rejected Theory Doctor Himmatrao Bawaskar Ntc

Farmer leaders and agricultural experts have dismissed the claim of Maharashtra’s doctor Himmatrao Bavaskar to claim the amount of selenium in Punjab and Haryana as the reason for hair loss. Doctor Bavaskar claimed that youth are falling prey to Alopecia Totalis in Buldhana district of Maharashtra due to high amount of selenium in wheat coming from Punjab and Haryana.
Renowned economist Professor Ranjit Singh Ghuman, said that this is a conspiracy to discredit Punjab, Punjab brought a green revolution and gave food to the country for decades. The wheat that is being eaten and grown in Punjab goes to the whole country. If there was any problem in this, then the people of Punjab would first be affected. This is not the research of any prestigious scientific institution, but only one person claims.
Farmer leader Saravan Singh Pandher said that this is an attempt to discredit Punjab, our hair is long and thick. Had it been such wheat, we would have been affected first. Till date we have not heard any such thing.
In fact, in January, Dr. Bavaskar of Maharashtra had done a research at his level after receiving news of sudden baldness among 300 villagers of Buldhana, on which he spent around Rs 92,000. On 25 and 26 January, he had collected samples of blood, urin and wheat from the affected villages. However, on this claim, now farmer organizations and agricultural experts have dismissed the theory of Dr. Bavaskar and said that it is beyond the baseless and scientific evidence.
