PM Modi will inaugurate the new Pamban Rail Bridge connecting Rameswaram. Mandapam railway station in Tamil Nadu has been connected to Rameswaram railway station through the country’s first vertical suspension bridge. PM Modi will visit and worship at the Ramanathaswamy temple of Rameswaram. After that, he will lay the foundation stone of various rail and road projects worth more than Rs 8,300 crore in Tamil Nadu in Rameswaram and will dedicate them to the nation. On this occasion, he will also address a public meeting.
PM Modi shared a video of Ram Sethu Darshan while returning from Sri Lanka. He wrote, today on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, while returning from Sri Lanka, there was divine darshan of Ram Sethu from the sky. The construction work of the new Pamban Railway Bridge was completed in November last year. The Pamban Bridge connecting Rameswaram’s connectivity in South India was first built in 1914. It was India’s first sea bridge over the sea. After 111 years, this bridge is now ready in the new Karwar.
