In Amritsar (Rural), Punjab, police have arrested three people with 4 kg of heroin. According to the police, this heroin was smuggled from Pakistan through drone.

Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav wrote in a post on Recovered.

According to DGP Gaurav Yadav, an FIR has been registered against the accused under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Gharinda Police Station.

Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said further investigation is underway to identify other persons involved and unearth the smuggling network. Let us tell you that Punjab Police is running a campaign against those involved in drug trade.
