‘Supreme’ order on Sambhal Masjid dispute, both deputy CMs of UP said this, gave instructions to SP

In the case of violence in Sambhal, the Supreme Court ordered that the lower court should not take any action in this matter. Before doing anything, orders from the High Court will have to be taken. After this comment of the Supreme Court, the statements of both the Deputy CMs of UP have come out. While Keshav Prasad Maurya said that we welcome the court’s decision, Brajesh Pathak said that whatever the court has said will be followed. No one will be allowed to take law into their hands.

Statement of Deputy CM Keshav Maurya

Keshav Prasad Maurya said that we welcome the decision of the Supreme Court. Also, I want to tell SP goons and rioters not to spoil the atmosphere, otherwise SP will sink. Even if you search with binoculars you will not be able to find it. Police-administration and government will take strict action against the rioters.

Brajesh Pathak said this

On the order of the Supreme Court in the Sambhal violence case, Brajesh Pathak said that we respect the honorable court. Whatever the court has said will be followed. Will not allow anyone to take law into their hands. Action will be taken against whoever is accused/guilty. Law and order will remain intact. Along with the government, the police administration is also on alert.

What did the Supreme Court say on the Sambhal case?

Actually, the Sambhal Masjid case was heard in the Supreme Court on Friday. On which the court ordered that the survey report of the mosque will not be opened yet. The Supreme Court told the trial court not to take any action in the case till January 8, peace is necessary first.

Giving important instructions on Sambhal violence, the Supreme Court has asked the lower court not to hear the Jama Masjid case. Besides, the Supreme Court has also instructed the administration to improve law and order. Apart from this, the Supreme Court has asked the petitioner to go to the High Court, now any action can be taken only on the instructions of the High Court.

What is the controversy regarding Jama Masjid in Sambhal?

There is a controversy over the Jama Masjid built during the era of Mughal ruler Babar in Sambhal because earlier there was ‘Hari Har Mandir’ here, where the mosque was built. Regarding this, a lawyer from the Hindu side had filed a petition in the local court demanding a court survey. Later the court issued the order for survey, due to which tension arose in the area and the Muslim community opposed it. Later violence broke out and four people lost their lives and dozens including policemen were injured.
