While the Sandhya theater stampede controversy grabbed ample attention, even leading to the arrest of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun, the court has issued some relaxations for the actor in the matter. On Saturday, reports claimed that the actor, who was asked to report to Chikkadapally police station every Sunday, has been exemplified from doing so. Furthermore, it has been revealed that certain travel restrictions have been lifted too.

Allu Arjun can now heave a sigh of relief
While the stampede case led to many legal implications including the actor being restricted to travel because he was out on bail after his arrest, the court has relaxed some of these restrictions followed by the request made by the Telugu superstar’s legal team. It has been mentioned in reports that the legal team had a few concerns related to the actor’s security, which seems to have prompted the court to take this decision. Furthermore, it has been stated that the actor has also received permission to travel abroad.

Allu Arjun decided to interact with fans outside Sandhya theater as a part of the promotions of Pushpa 2 – The Rule which released amid much hoopla in December 2024. However, the chaos resulted in a stampede that led to the death of a woman, leaving her son critically injured. While the actor was asked to pay a fine to help the family and their medical expenses, the actor was also arrested in relation to the case. Although he was granted bail, the actor received a lot of criticism from many, which also led to his home in Hyderabad being vandalized, further raising concerns over his and his family’s safety.

Despite all the controversy, however, the action entertainer that also starred Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles, received much love and acceptance from audiences across the country, making it the biggest blockbuster of the year.
