Rajasthan: Oxygen pipe inserted in borewell, keeping an eye through camera… Efforts continue to save Chetna who fell in borewell NTC

A continuous rescue operation is going on to rescue 3-year-old Chetna, who had fallen into the pit of a borewell located in Badiyali Dhani village near Kotputli, Rajasthan. Teams of NDRF, SDRF, District Administration and Police have been continuously conducting rescue operations for about 8 hours. Oxygen is being supplied to Chetan with the help of plastic pipes.

During this time all the responsible administrative officers including police and district administration are present on the spot. Apart from this, medical team, doctors and responsible officials of other government departments are also present. A camera has been installed in the pit to monitor Chetna’s movement. Administrative officials are keeping an eye on Chetna’s movement through cameras. Another pit is being dug near the pit with a JCB machine, and efforts are also being made to rescue Chetna with the help of indigenous technology.

A plan is being made by the administration to provide food items, water and other things to Chetna in the pit. Administration officials are keeping an eye on every moment.

The girl was playing outside the house
Let us tell you that on Monday afternoon, three-year-old Chetna fell into a 150 feet deep borewell while playing outside the house. As soon as the information was received, Sarund police station and district administration reached the spot and started rescue operations. Hearing the crying and screaming of the girl, the family reached the spot and saw that the girl had fallen into the borewell. After this the family immediately informed the police and administration. It is being told that Chetna’s father Bhupendra Chaudhary had taken out the plastic pipe from the borewell two days ago, but instead of covering the borewell, he had left it open.

Efforts continue to rescue the girl safely
As soon as information about the incident was received, Sarund police station and district administration reached the spot. Rescue work has been started rapidly. A pipe has been inserted inside the borewell to supply oxygen and efforts are being made to rescue the girl by digging nearby. Help of administration and local people is being taken in the rescue operation. The incident has shocked the people of the area and the administration has issued a warning against such open borewells. Every possible effort is being made to bring the girl out safely.
