Karni Sena national president Raj Shekhawat had warned that if action was not taken against SP MP Ramji Lal Suman till 5 pm, he would march till his residence in Agra. People from different districts and cities started arriving from Friday night to attend the Karni Sena rally. For this rally, a farm of about 50,000 square meters was flattened and converted into a venue. Union Minister SP Singh Baghel also reached Agra to attend the Karni Sena rally.

Karni Sena gave memorandum

According to the police, the memorandum was sent back to them. Additional police forces were also called from nearby districts like Meerut, Jhansi and Mainpuri to strengthen the local police. The controversy started on March 21 with a statement made by Ramji Lal Suman in Parliament, in which he said that Rana Sanga had called Babur to India to defeat the last Sultan of Delhi Sultanate, Ibrahim Lodi. This statement by Suman spread outrage among several Rajput organizations including the All India Kshatriya Mahasabha and Karni Sena and saw a strong response to the comment on the Rajput heritage. After the attack on his residence, Suman has filed a petition in the Allahabad High Court demanding security.
