A case of molestation of a female chef by a Rapido driver has come to light in Noida Police Station Phase-2 area. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered an FIR in the case and arrested the accused and sent him to jail. At the same time, the police has assured to take immediate action in this case and provide justice to the woman.
According to the information, the female chef resident of Modinagar told that she had booked Rapido Scooty to go from Ghaziabad to Noida Sector-80. This incident happened around 9 am on Friday morning. The woman told that during the journey, scooty driver Anuj Shehra, resident of Geeta Colony, started molesting her by placing his hand on her leg.

The woman initially protested and removed his hand, but the driver tried to repeat his actions. On this the woman protested strongly by stopping the scooter. Despite the woman’s protest, the accused continued his misbehavior and threatened her and tried to run away from the spot. After the incident, the woman lodged a complaint at Phase-2 police station.
Police assured the woman of getting justice
The police took immediate action and arrested the accused Anuj Shehra. The in-charge of the police station said that on the basis of the victim’s statement and evidence, a case has been registered against Anuj and he has been sent to jail. The police have also assured to take immediate action in this matter and provide justice to the woman.
