Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently present in the White House. He is going to meet with US President Donald Trump. The two leaders held a press conference before a detailed talks in which they answered the questions of the press on many subjects. PM Modi congratulated Donald Trump for the third time to be elected President of America, while Trump described Prime Minister Modi as his friend.
‘Trump welcomed me like an old friend’
PM Modi said, ‘I thank you on behalf of the people of India. In India, I have been given the mandate to run the government for the third time. We will work closely with equal energy and enthusiasm. Trump described PM Modi as his ‘friend’ and said that our relations are very strong.

He said, ‘India will buy oil and gas from America. We will discuss business. You were happy to see back to the White House. PM Modi said, ‘Trump welcomed me like an old friend. He reminded me of Namaste Trump and Houdi Modi programs.
‘We don’t think of beating anyone’
PM Modi said, ‘Humanity will benefit from the partnership between India and America. Trump reminds us of Make America Great Again, similarly by 2047, making India a developed country is the aspiration and resolution of 1.4 billion Indians. Our meeting means one and 11 which will work together for humanity.
At the same time, Trump said that Prime Minister Modi is doing a great job in India, he is a great leader. Indo-US and America will always remain friends. On the question that if you are strict with India then how will you beat China, Trump said that we can beat anyone but we do not think about defeating anyone. We were doing a good job for 4 years, but we were stopped and a very poor administration came. Now we will continue to do good work and we will be strong.

‘India is not neutral. We are in favor of peace ‘
In response to a question related to Russia-Ukraine war, PM Modi said, ‘India is not neutral. India is in favor of peace. This is not the era of war. The solution cannot be discovered in the battlefield. We support all peace initiatives. We support Trump’s initiative to end the war. Trump said, “We want to end war.”
‘We will talk about business’
During the meeting with PM Modi, Donald Trump said, ‘It is a matter of great respect for PM Modi to be here. He is my very old friend. We have had very good relations and we maintained this relationship during a period of 4 years. We have just started again. I think we have many big things to talk. On the first number, they will buy our oil and gas. We have more oil and gas than any other country in the world. They need it and we have it. We are going to talk about business.
