New Delhi: The suspense over the mega auction for the Indian Premier League 2025 is over. The mega auction will be organized on 24 and 25 November in Jeddah city of Saudi Arabia. A total of 1574 players from India and abroad have registered their names in this auction. Out of these 1574 players, only 204 players will be bid. There are 1165 Indian, 409 foreign and 30 associate country players for the auction. Players from a total of 14 countries have registered their names for IPL 2025. The maximum registration of 91 players has come from South Africa for the mega auction to be held for IPL 2025. Australia is at second place in this list. 76 players from Australia have entered the mega auction. At number three is England from where a total of 52 players have registered themselves in the auction. Apart from this, a total of 39 players from New Zealand will enter the mega auction.

Whereas 29-29 players from Afghanistan and Sri Lanka have registered themselves for the mega auction. Apart from this, a total of 13 players from Bangladesh and 12 from Netherlands have registered themselves for the auction. The names of 10 players from America, 9 players from Ireland and 1 player from Canada are included in the auction list. Apart from this, one player each from UAE and Italy is also included.

46 players have been retained before the auction

A total of 46 players have been retained by all the teams before the mega auction for IPL 2025. Punjab Kings have retained the least two players in retention. This is why the Punjab Kings team is preparing to enter the auction with a purse of Rs 110 crore.
