The month of November is over and December, the last month of the year 2024, has brought with it many big changes (Rule Change From 1st December). The direct impact of these financial changes can be seen in every home and every pocket. If we look at these big changes being implemented in the country with the first date of the new month, the biggest blow has been suffered by LPG users. Actually, oil marketing companies have once again increased the price of commercial LPG gas cylinders (LPG Cylinder Price Hike), this amendment has come into effect from December 1, 2024. Apart from this, changes are also going to be seen in the credit card rules of the country’s largest bank SBI.
First change- LPG cylinder prices increased
Like every month, on the first date of this month i.e. from 1st December 2024, many rules change and especially everyone keeps an eye on the revision in LPG Cylinder Price. After increasing the prices in the month of November, oil marketing companies have once again increased the prices of 19 KG gas cylinders on the first of December. This LPG cylinder price in Delhi has become Rs 1818.50, which till now was available at Rs 1802.
Whereas in Kolkata it has now become Rs 1927, which was being sold at Rs 1911.50 after the increase on November 1. Along with this, if we look at Mumbai LPG Cylinder Price, the price of 19 kg cylinder was Rs 1754.50, which has now increased to Rs 1771. Apart from this, till now this cylinder was available for Rs 1964.50 in Chennai, which has now become Rs 1980.50.
Second change- increase in ATF prices
Along with the prices of LPG Cylinder, the price of Air Turbine Fuel (ATF) is also revised by the oil distribution companies on the first day of the month. This time also on December 1st, a change was seen in the prices of air fuel and it has been increased (ATF Price Hike). This means air travel can be expensive. Let us tell you here that ATF prices have also increased for the second consecutive month.
If we look at the changes, the ATF price in New Delhi was increased by 3.3% to Rs 90,538.72 per kiloliter on November 1, which has further increased to Rs 91,856.84 per kiloliter on December 1. Apart from this, in Mumbai it has increased from Rs 84,642.91 to Rs 85,861.02, in Kolkata it has increased from Rs 93,392.79 to Rs 94,551.63 and in Chennai it has increased from Rs 93,957.10 to Rs 95,231.49 per kilolitre.
Third change- SBI credit card rules
The third major change from December 1, 2024 is related to credit card users (Credit Card Rule Change). This change can be seen for SBI credit card users. Actually, according to the website of SBI Cards, it was announced that reward points on transactions related to digital gaming platform/merchant in 48 credit cards will be abolished from the first date. Which can come into effect from today.
Fourth change- 17 days bank holiday
If you have any important bank related work in the month of December, then let us tell you that more than half of the days in the last month of December of the year are declared bank holidays. Branches in various states will remain locked for 17 days in a month. If we look at the bank holiday list of RBI, these bank holidays have been decided on the basis of different festivals and events in different states and these include weekly holidays of second and fourth Saturday as well as Sunday. Deadline for many important works in December
Along with these changes, the month of December is also special for many important works, in fact, in December, there are going to be changes from Aadhaar card free update to Axis Bank credit card. Let us tell you that the deadline for Free Aadhaar Update by UIDAI is ending on 14th December, apart from this, Axis Bank is going to change the fees of its credit card from 20th December of this month. There are preparations to increase the financial fee on this from 3.6% to Rs. 3.75 per month.
