A painful incident has come to light from Banda, Uttar Pradesh. Here two friends committed suicide at different times. One hanged herself when her demand for clothes was not met, while the other, unable to bear the shock of her death, also committed suicide. Police reached the spot after receiving the information, took possession of both the bodies and sent them for post-mortem. Police say that both were mutual friends. Both of them also had a deep friendship with each other.
The matter is of rural Kotwali area. Gayatri, the 19-year-old daughter of Devraj, resident of a village here, hanged herself by making a noose of rope from the roof gable. When there was no sound for a long time, the younger sister went to see her and was shocked. Police was informed. The police brought her down from the noose but by then Gayatri had died.

Sad end of a life bound in friendship
The police was preparing to send the body for post-mortem after interrogating the family members. During this time, Gayatri’s friend 18 year old Pushpa, who lived next door, could not bear the shock of her friend’s death and hanged herself. At the time of the incident, Pushpa’s family had gone to the house of deceased Gayatri. After this, the police took both the bodies into their custody and sent them for post-mortem.
Insistence on clothes took one’s life
At the same time, family members told that deceased Gayatri was demanding clothes. The family members were talking about getting it after a few days, but the girl was insisting on getting it now. Due to this stubbornness he committed suicide. Pushpa could not bear the shock of her friend’s death and she also committed suicide. Their friendship was so deep that they both had each other’s names tattooed on their hands. There was a deep friendship between the two. Both of them stayed together the whole day. At present, there is chaos among the family members after the incident.
DCP said this in the matter
DSP City Rajiv Pratap Singh said that today on December 20, Kotwali Dehat police station received information that a girl had committed suicide by hanging herself in a village in the police station area. On which the police team reached the spot. The body was sent for post-mortem. Some time after the incident, information was again received from the same village that another girl living right behind their house had also committed suicide by hanging herself. Police have sent the bodies for post-mortem. It was told that both the girls were mutual friends. The matter is being investigated and necessary action is being taken.
