Mumbai Police have reportedly made a significant breakthrough in the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case, detaining a suspect from Madhya Pradesh. The suspect, now in police custody, is undergoing interrogation. Authorities are working to determine if the detained individual is the actual attacker or has any connection to the incident. As of now, no official statement has been released by the Mumbai Police confirming the detention.

Suspect’s Movements Traced Through CCTV Footage
Sources reveal that after the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan, the accused fled the scene, eventually reaching Bandra station. From there, he took a train to Dadar and exited at platform number 1 in Dadar West. The suspect reportedly stopped at a shop named Iqra to purchase headphones, raising suspicions that he might still be in Mumbai. The police have obtained crucial CCTV footage from railway stations to trace his movements.
Crime Branch Inspects Neighboring Bungalows
As part of their investigation, the Mumbai Crime Branch conducted a detailed inspection of the areas surrounding Saif Ali Khan’s residence, Sadguru Sharan. Officers are examining whether the accused gained access to the actor’s building by scaling the walls of adjacent bungalows.
The Crime Branch team inspected several nearby structures, including Petfina and Next Square Avenue, two buildings adjacent to Saif’s residence. Additional inspections of neighboring properties have also been carried out to gather more evidence about the route taken by the accused.
Multi-Angle Investigation Underway
More than 30 teams of the Mumbai Police are currently investigating the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case from multiple angles. With detailed scrutiny of CCTV footage and area inspections, officials are leaving no stone unturned in determining how the suspect gained access to the building and tracing his subsequent movements.
