The makers of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire took to their social media to share an electrifying poster of the film, marking its first anniversary. They further penned the caption: “One year ago, when the world witnessed the fury of #Salaar / We can’t wait for the story of Shouryaanga Parvam to unfold! #Salaar2”
Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire broke records with its Hindi TV premiere, attracting an incredible 30 million viewers. After grossing over Rs 700 crores at the box office and maintaining its position as one of the top trending films on OTT for over 200 days, Salaar continued to make waves with its satellite release as well. Now, the film has been trending on Disney+ Hotstar for 300 days which is indeed an unimaginable feat.
The film received positive reviews from critics. It was a commercial success, earning Rs 618−700 crores making it the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2023, the fifth highest-grossing Telugu film of all time, the fifth highest-grossing Indian film of 2023, and the 16th highest-grossing. Indian film of all time.
The world of Khansaar has fascinated global audiences and they are all raving about it. The film leaves the masses with a surprise that sets the stage right for the sequel. Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam all set for its release in 2026.
