A group of BJP MPs are protesting against Rahul Gandhi and Congress near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. At the same time, opposition MPs are marching from Vijay Chowk to Parliament.

After the pushing and shoving incident on Thursday, BJP had lodged an FIR against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Now information is coming out that the case registered against Rahul can be transferred to the Crime Branch of Delhi Police for investigation.

There will be a meeting of senior officers of Delhi Police, after which a decision will be taken on what to do next in the case. The police had registered the FIR at 9.22 pm on Thursday.

Let us tell you that earlier the investigation of the case of color canister in the Parliament complex was handed over from the local police to the Special Cell.

A case has been registered against Rahul Gandhi under these sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS).

  • Section 109: Attempt to murder
  • Section 115: Voluntarily causing hurt
  • Section 117: Voluntarily causing grievous hurt
  • Section 121: Causing hurt to distract public servant from his duty
  • Section 351: Criminal intimidation
  • Section 125: Endangering the safety of others

How did the pushing scandal begin?

Actually, the Congress party was protesting in the Parliament against the statement of Home Minister Amit Shah on Ambedkar. At the same time, BJP was also protesting against Congress. Meanwhile, at 10.40 am on Thursday, Congress was coming to the Makar Gate of Parliament in protest. At this time BJP was standing at Makar Dwar.

In this way the MPs of BJP and Congress were right in front of each other. Sloganeering started from both sides. This incident lasted for about 20 minutes. Congress alleges that BJP MPs tried to stop them and pushed them. BJP also says the same thing.

BJP alleges that meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi pushed an MP, due to which the MP fell on BJP MP Pratap Sarangi. Sarangi and another BJP MP Mukesh Rajput were injured in this scuffle.

On this entire incident, Pratap Sarangi said, “I was standing on the stairs. Rahul Gandhi pushed an MP and that MP fell on me, due to which I fell and got injured.”

What did Rahul Gandhi say on the incident?

After BJP MP Pratap Sarangi’s allegations, Rahul Gandhi said, “Everything is captured on camera. I was trying to enter the House. BJP MPs pushed and threatened me. Kharge ji was also pushed. We were pushed and shoved.” Nothing can stop us from going to Parliament.”

Rahul Gandhi said that I wanted to go inside the Parliament. It is my right to go to Parliament, an attempt was made to stop me. We were stopped from entering the Parliament. BJP MPs were pushing and shoving.
