Before the prayers of Holi and Ramadan, the security system in Delhi has been cleared. Security has been increased in at least 100 places in the national capital. A senior police officer has given this information on Monday. He said, “No one will be allowed to dissolve the law and order situation during the upcoming Holi and Juma prayers. Sensitive areas have been identified. We have identified more than 100 places in Delhi, where we will deploy additional police forces along with paramilitary forces.”

According to police sources, some anti -social elements may try to create disturbance during simultaneous ceremonies. As a result, additional police forces will be deployed at sensitive places. A source said, “We have identified Bhajanpura, Dilshad Garden, Jagatpuri, Khajuri Khas, Zafarabad, Jahangirpuri, Azadpur, Ceilampur, Okhla, Chand Bagh, Khajuri, Mustafabad, Shiv Vihar, Jafarabad, Maujpur, Brahmapuri, Trilokpuri and Jamia Nagar as sensitive areas.” Senior police officers are about to sit with local committees.

The police officer said that drones will be used to monitor sensitive sites. Strict action will be taken against those who try to incite religious or communal tension. Officers in plain clothes will be deployed for additional surveillance. These officials will monitor any suspicious activity to ensure timely intervention. Special attention will be paid to the college and hostel areas, where in the previous years, incidents of water balloons and color were revealed in public places.

Let us tell you that during Holi and Shab-e-Baaraat in the year 2023, the traffic police in Delhi, Noida and Greater Noida cut the challan. According to the data, Delhi Traffic Police cut more than 8,550 invoices for violation of traffic rules. Noida Police also invoiced 1100 vehicles. The invoices include many people who were driving a motorcycle without a helmet. Some were also fined for driving by drinking alcohol. The police issued a warning during Shab-e-Baraat and Holika Dahan.

A Delhi Police official had said that 759 traffic police were deployed across the city to drink alcohol, fast, careless and take action against stunts. A total of 908 challans were cut during this period, in which 70 challans were drunk by drinking liquor, triple riding on 109 two -wheelers, 438 without helmet, 22 without helmet. Seat belts, 42 for tinted glass and 227 challans were made for other traffic violations.
