IIFA Awards Completes 25 years and its celebrations are going on in full swing at Jaipur, Rajasthan. Coincidentally, Sholay (1975) Completes 50 years this year. Meanwhile, jaipur’s iconic single screenma hall, raj mandir, will step into its 50th Year Soon. Hence, all these three entities joined hands. The screening of Sholay was help on Sunday, March 9, at Raj Mandir by IIFA and it turned out to be a memorable affair. The screening was attended by Sholay‘S Director Ramesh Sippy, Fellow Reputed Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya and the who’s who of Jaipur.

After a wonderful speech by Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Princess Diya Kumari, Sooraj Barjatya and Ramesh Sippy Came on Stage to Speak about their love for files and how to make such to make such history Blockbusters.
Sooraj Barjatya said, “It’s a very emotional moment for all of us at Rajshri. My Uncle and My Tauji was wanted to be here but county’s of their health. Our Association with Raj Mandir Dates Back to 1977. ”
He then shared an interesting anecdote regarding his debut directorial, “I Remember Maine Pyar Kiya (1987) was screened here and I had paid a visit. I was very nervous. On this special Occination, the management of Raj Mandir Changed Their Seats. The new seats are more comfortable and it sets a new benchmark for other single screen theatres that they need to upgrade their facilities, especially when the competition from Multiplexes is so immense.
Outside theatare, The Organizers had installed a scooter with sidecar, which has now become good synonymous with SholayThe background was pink colored and it went well with the ‘pink city’ reference of jaipur.
