It is a known fact that the pre-wedding functions of the Telugu star Naga Chaitanya and actress Sobhita Dhulipala have kick started. Photos and videos have already been taken over the internet where they gave netizens a glimpse of the Haldi ceremony. Now, on Saturday, the Made In Heaven actress took to the platform to share a few more set of pictures from this ceremony which is referred to as ‘Mangal Snanam’ as per Telugu traditions.

Readers would be aware that sources close to Sobhita Dhulipala asserted that the actress wanted to follow every tradition, showcasing her love for her culture and her roots. While her husband Naga Chaitanya also agreed to the same, the couple kicked off their wedding functions last week with Raata Stapana and Mangal Snanam.
It is a known fact that every Hindu wedding has ‘Haldi’ which is a holy bath made for the bride where she is adorned with turmeric and sandalwood paste, to enhance her beauty ahead of the wedding. Prior to that, many cultures also host a small pooja to please the gods before they kick start these festivities. It seems following the same tradition, Sobhita took to Instagram to share photos from “Raata sthaapana and Mangalasnaanam”. She was seen sporting a beautiful silk yellow saree and matching gold jewelery as she was given this ‘Holy Bath’ in a lotus shaped urli by the women of the household.
Meanwhile, speaking about the wedding, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala will be tying the knot on December 4 at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. We hear that the ceremony will be a grand affair but an intimate one with a few close friends and the families in attendance.
For the unversed, Naga Chaitanya was earlier married to popular actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in 2017 but the couple parted ways and announced their divorce in 2021.
