Sonnalli Seygall, who is enjoying her motherhood, decided to share about her postpartum journey with her social media fam in a bid to help other new mothers in their special journey. The Love Punchnama The actress dedicated the special post to all the people in her ‘village’ who encouraged, supported, and stayed by her side during this challenging phase which also included her husband Ashesh Sajnani. As she penned this note, she decided to also share a few pearls of wisdom for pregnant women and other females who are on this motherhood journey.

Sonnalli Seygall reflects on her 45 days of postpartum
Taking to her Instagram page, Sonnalli Seygall shared pictures from her special post-delivery moments which included spending time with her newborn daughter, her mother pampering her, a glimpse of her baby’s room, the healthy diet she is currently following, among other things. Speaking about her ’45 days of postpartum journey’, she added, “It is said that the 45 days after a woman gives birth are the most important and highly crucial for the mother and the child. There are so many things that go into building this phase, from nutrition to massages and sleep and hormones… I can safely say it takes a village! And I tried to follow most of the principles according to the Indian traditional ways and sanskaar but I know I couldn’t have done it without my precious village by my side.. my people who literally held my hand through this phase- Markish, Teju Rose, Deepali.”
“They say when a woman gives birth, she needs the care of her own mother to take care of her newborn. And this hits home for me. And my Mumma literally nurtured her daughter back to health while I nursed mine”, she added.

She went on to add in her post, “And ofcourse the leader of this pack, the one holding the fort for me, my husband <3 Patiently dealing with all my postpartum blues, my foggy brain and simply being there as the strongest support system , hugs giver and happy quotient through it all. Ashesh”. “This is to all the mammas and to be mammas out there, in all of this don't lose yourself.. and incase you do for a second, find yourself back.. with YOUR village by your side, whoever or whatever that may be for you,” she shared before signing off.

The actress tied the knot with businessman Ashesh L Sajnani in in June 2023 and announced her pregnancy on social media in August 2024. She welcomed her daughter Shukar on November 27, 2024.
