Actor Sooraj Pancholi is set to play a significant role in the upcoming historical epic. Kesari VeerThe film, which also stars Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and Akanksha Sharma, chronicles the valor of unsung warriors who defended the Somnath Temple from invaders in the 14th century.

Sources close to the production revealed that Sooraj, an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, visited the Somnath Temple to seek blessings before joining the project. Soon after, he received a call from producer Kanu Chauhan’s office for a script narration by director Prince Dhiman. Impressed by the story of sacrifice and bravery, Sooraj accepted the role.
To ensure authenticity in his portrayal, the actor underwent intensive training in sword fighting and horse riding, essential skills for the film’s era. He also adopted a vegetarian diet during the shoot to fully immerse himself in the character.
With a strong ensemble cast and meticulous historical research, Kesari Veer is set to be a grand cinematic experience, showcasing the heroism and devotion of the warriors who gave their lives to protect the Somnath Temple.
