South superstar Allu Arjun was released from Hyderabad Central Jail today (December 14) morning after getting bail from Telangana High Court. The actor’s father Allu Arvind and father-in-law Kancharla Chandrashekhar had come to receive him. Allu Arjun’s fans are very happy with his release.
After being released from jail, Allu Arjun reached his home with his family. On reaching home, he thanked all the fans for their love and support.

After coming out of jail, Allu Arjun talked to the media. He said- There is nothing to worry about. I am alright. I believe in law. This case is going on in the court so I will not comment in between. I am a law abiding citizen. I will cooperate with the police. My condolences to the family of the woman who lost her life. Thank you very much for everyone’s love and support. I am here today because of your support. I want to thank my fans.
Where did Allu Arjun reach first?
After coming out of jail, Allu Arjun reached Geetha Arts office before reaching home. Geetha Arts is one of the largest and popular film production and distribution company of South Indian cinema. It was started in 1972 by Allu Arjun’s father Allu Aravind. Now it is run by actor Allu Arjun only. After leaving his production house Geetha Arts, Allu went straight to his home with his family. Tight security arrangements have already been made outside his house.
Why was Allu Arjun arrested?
Let us tell you that on December 4, a woman lost her life due to a stampede during the special screening of ‘Pushpa 2’ at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad. Actor Allu Arjun was arrested last night (13 December) in this case. After Allu Arjun was sent on 14-day remand, he was taken to Chanchalguda Central Jail on Friday.
Later, Telangana High Court granted him interim bail on a personal bond of Rs 50,000. But even after this he had to spend the night in jail, because it was reportedly said that the copies of the bail order were not uploaded online, due to which the actor had to spend the night in jail.
His lawyer Ashok Reddy criticized the Hyderabad jail authorities for not complying with the bail order given to the actor. The lawyer said, ‘Hyderabad Police and Chanchalguda jail administration had received a copy of the High Court order yesterday itself, in which the jail superintendent was clearly directed to release Allu Arjun immediately. The Superintendent had also given instructions to ensure his release, but the jail administration did not release him. This was illegal detention and he will have to answer for it. We will take legal action.
