In 2022, the world witnessed the engaging and entertaining film RRRPacked with stunning visuals, grand action sequences, a captivating story, and a talented cast, the film broke records at the box office and set new standards of success. Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR continues to stand as a unique cinematic spectacle. Now, the makers have released the RRR Behind & Beyond trailer, taking audiences deeper into its world.
RRR is one of the few films that has truly transformed the entertainment industry. With a story evoking emotions ranging from friendship and patriotism to rage and love, this power-packed entertainer left everyone in awe. As the makers launch the RRR Behind & Beyond trailer, it offers a nostalgic trip down the memory lane of this blockbuster. The trailer will hit cinemas on 20th December.
The film featured iconic dance numbers that became a nationwide sensation, including Naatu Naatu, Friendship, Komuram Bheemudo,and Raamam Raaghavamall of which were widely praised. The action sequences further boosted the film’s appeal, presenting a larger-than-life world with top-tier VFX. Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR followed his success with Baahubali 2: The ConclusionWhile Baahubali created a new world, RRR took it to another level, delivering one of India’s biggest films of all time.
RRR was a unique film that captured the hearts of audiences and received overwhelmingly positive reviews. It garnered widespread appreciation from international filmmakers and actors, particularly in Hollywood. Filmmaker Steven Spielberg praised RRR and said, “I couldn’t believe my eyes – it was like eye candy…it was extraordinary to look at and experience.” James Cameron praising the screenplay, direction and music direction of the movie, said that he liked RRR so much that he watched it twice. The Russo Brothers have publicly expressed their appreciation for RRR and its director SS Rajamouli. Joe Russo mentioned, “I’ve seen RRRand it’s amazing.” He further mentioned, “What I think is so amazing about RRR is the emotion it evokes, combined with the spectacle.”
RRR also brought Oscar glory to India, with the song Naatu Naatu winning the Oscar for Best Original Song at the 95th Academy Awards. It became the first song from an Indian film, and the first from an Asian film, to win in this category. This achievement made RRR the first and only Indian feature film to win an Academy Award.
Directed by S. S. Rajamouli, RRR was The film stars NT Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris. The film was released on 25 March 2022.
